Our Daycare
About FBC Daycare
The daycare at Ferndale Baptist is an extension both of the church and the school. Housed in its own building adjacent to our elementary school in North Charleston, South Carolina, it is integral to our mission of providing a place where families are welcome. Our daycare director is Mrs. Donna Beckett.
- All day care for ages 6 weeks through age 3
- Before and after school care for K4 - 6th grades
- All workers First Aid and CPR certified
- School hours: 6:30 am-6 pm; Summer hours: 7 am-6 pm

ENROLLMENT FEE
$50 per family per calendar year due at time of enrollment and then annually after that in July.
REGISTRATION FEE
$50 per child per calendar year due at time of enrollment and then annually after that in March.
FERNDALE BAPTIST CHILD CARE 2007-2008 Age 0-3 years old:

All families are strongly encouraged to enroll in the SMART Tuition payment plan
which runs from August through May (rate for the month – a savings). Families with children in
the school and in the FBS Child Care are required to enroll in the SMART payment plan.
SMART Tuition will run from August-May (10 month plan). Tuition is due by the tenth of the month.
There is a grace period of no penalty until the 20th of the month. After the 20th of the month,
a $15 service charge is added to your tuition account and $20 more if they have to follow up
additionally. Families who pay on their SMART Tuition accounts in the office will be charged a
$10.00 service Fee per transaction. For the months of June and July, the tuition is due under the
same terms as described above, but the payment is made directly to FBS. Only for these two months
will the $10.00 Service Fee for office transactions concerning SMART be waived. Families who get
more than one month behind in tuition payments may be asked to withdraw from Ferndale Baptist Child
Care.
Families who have a child in the 0-3 age group of the Ferndale Baptist Child Care only may pay the weekly rate
of $115 (for the first child). Payment is due on Monday of the week the child care services are provided with a grace period of
no penalty until the Friday of that week. Payments made the following week will be considered late and a $10 late fee will be added
to the account. Families, who choose to pay weekly, may not be more than 2 weeks behind in their payments or they may be asked to
withdraw their child from the Ferndale Baptist Child Care.
Families who have more than one check returned for insufficient funds (to FBS or to SMART Tuition) in a school year
will be required to pre-pay by cash or money order on the first of the month for the rest of the school year. In this situation there
will not be a one month grace period for accounts in arrears.
Children who are not picked up by 6:00 pm will be charged $15.00 for each ¼ hour increment.
