2002 FBC Sunday School Picnic

Our annual Sunday School Picnic was held on Saturday, November 2 at Palmetto Island County Park. In addition to the good food (and lots of it), there were games for the kids, a costume contest, a horseshoe tournament, and plenty of fellowship. Special thanks to Howard Scarborough and all of those who made this picnic a success! Here are some pictures of the day's activities. Click on the thumbnail to see the picture up close. Long-time church member Leon Scarborough brings the devotion. Afterwards, Pastor Mike led us in a few hymns.

Time to eat! There's always plenty of food for everyone. People in our church really know how to cook!

It's never boring at the picnic. Kids can play on the stilts, hunt for money in the hay, play football and a lot more.

The kids always look forward to the picnic..

The jumping castle is always a huge hit! Even the big kids get in on the action!

The annual horseshoe tournament is a source of pride for the winners. The only problem is that we seem to have the same winners every year! Regardless, we have fun and enjoy the fellowship.

Now are you sure that was a ringer?

The eventual champions look on, wondering where the competition is.
