Awana Grand Prix

Our annual Awana Grand Prix was held on April 5, 2003 in our gymnasium. Some people spent their time coming up with great designs, some people spent their time making their cars lightning fast, and some people spent their time frequenting the concession stand. Nevertheless, everyone had a great time, as the pictures below testify. Since our timing mechanism was in the shop for repairs, we had to do it the old-fashioned way. We like to start our AWANA kids off young, as you can see.

		Here are the over-all winners. Richard Lynch felt so bad for beating little Alexis that he gave her his prize winnings -- an AWANA grand prix hat.

Here is an aerial shot of the festivities. It was a wonderful day of fellowship and fun and we look forward to next year's AWANA grand prix.
