regarding various ministries of Ferndale Baptist. Information about our
church is below.
- Kids 4 Truth in it's third year!! FBC is pleased to announce that we
are the first church in South Carolina to use their program. Click

ministry!
- FBC celebrated its 60th
anniversary in 2004. We enjoyed dinner on the grounds (in our newly air
conditioned gymnasium) and a testimony service afterwards. Click here

- On April 10, 2004, Dr. Robert Besancon went home to
be with his Lord. Recently retired in June of 2002, he was greatly loved
by all. Click here for more infomation.
- FBC recently purchased a new sound system for our
auditorium. We now offer personal listening devices for the hard of
hearing. In addition, we can now distribute copies of the services on
audio cd. Look for downloadable mp3's of our Sunday sermons on our home
page!
- Our 2003 Sunday School picnic was held at Palmetto
Island County park. Check out our Picture

- Vacation Bible School was held the week of June 2,
2003 in our gymnasium. Please feel free to browse
the pictures.
- Our annual Awana
Grand Prix was held on April 5, 2003 in our gymnasium. As always,
the competition on the track was stiff and the designs were creative.

- In recognition of Dr. Bob and Mrs. B's 34 years of
ministry, the city of North Charleston declared September 12, 2002 to
be "Dr. Bob and Gladys Besancon Day".
- Our pastor retired on June 10, 2002 after 34 years
here at Ferndale and 54 years in the ministry. We love you, Dr. Bob!
He was given the title Pastor Emeritus at his retirement celebration
on June 30, 2002. Click here to read
