May I ask you what surely is life’s most important question: have you ever trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? Our hope of salvation and our knowledge that we possess eternal life depend upon our acceptance of Christ and His work for us in dying on the cross of Calvary for our sins (1 Jn. 5:10-13).
The Bible tells us that we all are sinners (Romans 3:23) who are condemned by God and are unable to save ourselves (Ezekiel 18:4; Ephesians 2:1-3, 8-9). But God loves us and sent His Son to die in our place, and thus by His death He paid for our sins and purchased eternal life for all who believe on Him. Paul, in Romans 10:13, says that "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." May I urge you, if you have never done so, to pray and ask Christ Jesus to save you from the penalty of your sins (Romans 6:23). "For he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him"
